A Lake Tahoe native, Kelsey grew up training in jazz and tap styles, performing at competitions and on cruise lines. She has her BFA in Dance Performance from UC Irvine, where she studied choreography and performance with Loretta Livingston, Jodie Gates, and Saleemah E. Knight. While in school, Kelsey received a full scholarship to study and perform with Twyla Tharp at American Dance Festival, as well as a full research grant to study dance improvisation and collaboration internationally with DTM2 Ensemble. After graduation, she continued on to perform with LA based companies Brockus: RED, Multiplex Dance, and Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre, until she made her way to the bay area. She is currently a member of ka·nei·see | collective and Fyber Vision.
