A native of Moraga, California, Stacey began her dance training at California Academy of Performing Arts under the direction of Joan Robinson - Borchers. In 2014, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with honors. Stacey then went on to work with Seán Curran and the Santa Fe Opera, dancing in the American premiere of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. She has also worked with and performed in works by Johannes Wieland and Stella Zannou at the one small step dance festival in Corfu, Greece. She was invited to train with the Budapest Dance Theater for a year and received a scholarship to attend the invincible losers workshop series, now known as B12. There, she was able to work with Johannes Wieland, Tom Weinberger, and Sita Ostheimer. Stacey is a founding member of PETRICHOR Dance, a New York based company lead by Dexter Carlson. For the past year and a half, Stacey has been living in Hamburg working as a dancer and rehearsal director with the Sticky Trace Company under the direction of Uta Engel.
