Rebecca Fortelka, Social Media & Marketing
Rebecca Fortelka is a freelance social media consultant who has spent the last 8 years in the non-profit world and 4 years doing social media marketing for various non-profit organizations in the dance world. Rebecca graduated from Holy Names University with a double major in business marketing and management with a minor in social media management. As someone who was born with a disability she is very passionate about social issues like female empowerment and disability equality.
Clare Schweitzer, Video and Production
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Clare Schweitzer received her early training in ballet and continued her dance training at Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Dance and Mathematics cum laude with high honors. Clare has performed with groups such as Kinetech, the Samantha Giron Dance Project and Sarah Berges Dance. In 2014, Clare moved to London to begin her postgraduate studies as a part of EDge, the repertory company associated with the London Contemporary Dance School. She received an MA from the school, focusing her research on festivals and screening venues for dance film. She's had the opportunity to work behind the scenes of dance as an administrative assistant for Bandaloop and as a programming assistant for the San Francisco Dance Film Festival. Clare is a practitioner and researcher of screendance and is continuously reexamining both her own practice and the practices of the field at large. Her current research in the field revolves around contextual examinations of screendance festivals, with a focus on geographical location.
