Moving Arts Studio's 1st Residency Series
Join Alyssandra Katherine Dance Project and Isabel Rosenstock for Moving Arts Studio's first ever Residency Series Sharing. The evening will showcase 2 works-in-progress projects—one set by choreographer Alyssandra Katherine Wu and the other by Isabel Rosenstock. Wu’s project will explore the concept of "entanglement" and how an anxious body and mind can become tangled. The dance then proceeds to investigate solutions of unraveling the body/mind from entrapment—researching movement and breathing methods of relieving and unwinding. On the contrary, Isabel Rosenstock and Galen Rogers will be showing a work in progress duet that explores themes of structure and disintegration; inspired by the poetry and artwork of Tel Aviv based street artist, Know Hope. The residency will leave time for audience members to interact with the artists and give feedback on their experience with each work. The event is FREE and there is plenty of free street parking in the area. Please join us if you are interested in experiencing new dance and exploring alternative arts spaces within the San Francisco, Bay Area.
